Easter Mae Braswell, 83, of Hopewell passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Limial Leonard and Ella Burns Hawthorn and her husband, Cecil Jackson Braswell. Easter is survived by a son, Ronnie J. Braswell. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Southlawn Memorial Park. Dear Ronnie,
The death of your Mom came as a real shock. We know there can be no real consolation at this time. Just want you to know our thoughts are with you. And to thank you for letting her be a part of our lives. You are truly a wonderful son and your Mom was well aware of it. Even on a bad day (Ronnie) would make her smile. We are thinking of you and send our heartfelt sympathy.

Ronnie,

I am so sorry I couldn't attend the service for your mother. Your mom and dad were in our lives for so long. Being neighbors on River Road since 1966 was a good part of our lives. My parents left this earth before yours, but I know they both felt close to your mom and dad.

Just know they are together in a better place looking down proud of all you have done for both of them and wanting you to be happy and carry on with your life.

You are in my thoughts and prayers and if there is anything I can do let me know.
