Dear Nesbitt family,

I was truly sad when I read in the paper about the loss of Roy. My dad, Walter Gilliam was a long time friend. As I was growing up Roy was kinda of one of the gang. There was a great group of guys that would meet at Blackwell's I guess for a "cold one". So I guess it seems like a small piece of my dad passing again. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Lots of love, Toni Gilliam Carr and Barry Carr

Shirley, Kim, & Tonda,

Just wanted to let you know I was sorry to hear about Roy. You will be remembered in my thoughts and prayers.

Roy left alot of good memories and stories...especially the fishing trips with my Dad, and, of course, the Christmas Day visits! He will be remembered with fondness.
