Condolences

Tonda,

I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. Brockwell. Both you and him have always held a special place in my heart. I have never forgotten the kindness he showed me while growing up in River's Edge. Not only was he extremely kind but quite the character as well. You are in my prayers and please give Elizabeth my love.

Tonda: I was out of town last weekend when I read about your loss. I will always remember Thornton's good nature when we coached girls in Rec League against each other. God bless you and your family. Time will help ease the pain of your loss. Call me if you need anything....even if you just need to talk.

Bubba and Derrell I'm sorry to hear about the loss of Thornton. We all had a good time in a good neighborhood when we were kids in Woodlawn. I don't guess I had had any contact with Thornton since school days but know that our prayers are with you at this time.

Dear Tonda,
I was so sorry to hear about Thornton. I will always remember what fun he was to be around. I can truthfully say that I loved the man like a brother. I will always remember the numerous times he told me how lucky he was that he had you and that you took care of him.
I will not be able to make it to Hopewell but know that you are in my prayers.
Love, Shelby

Tonda, We were very shocked and saddened to hear about Thornton. During the time that I worked with him at Stone he was always willing and ready to help me with all my computer problems. He had that special ability to lift your spirits and make you feel special. May God be with you and your family at this difficult time.

Thornton will be missed so much by us. The neighborhood just won't quite feel the same. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family and friends that are left here to grieve. If we can do anything to make this difficult time any easier, please just ask.
