Kenny:
I was sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. She was a most caring and respectful person. My
Mother told me of their friendship as single girls
in Wheelwright. She and Granddad Frank really made my Mother part of their family when she first came to W'wright. I'm sure there were a lot
of "old W'wright friends and family" glad to have
her back with them. God Bless You and Gail!!

Dear Kenny & Gail,

I just read my E-mail from Judy Kay. I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your Mom.(Aunt Lora)
We all go our separate ways, living our lives, but please find strength in knowing that your Mom was a very special lady. I will always remember my time growing up in Wheelwright & please know that your Mom was a special part of those memories. If it had not been for her and Aunt Lucy taking me under their wings, I would not be the woman I am today. They helped raise me. I can't count the number of times Aunt Lora saw me playing at a friends house across the street & would ask me if I was hungry. She would cook me Breakfast any time of the day!! To this day, I don't think I've had better. I can't tell you how many Blue Ribbons Aunt Lora's cakes won for me for 4-H.(Lord knows I couldn't bake anything) When we had bake sales at school, she always baked something for me to take. I spent the night with Aunt Lora & Uncle Frank often & they were both very special people. Me and your Dad would have bowls of vanilla ice cream with cherries on top together for our late night snacks that Aunt Lora put together for us. Again,
she will always have a special place in my heart and I Love all of you.

Your Loving Cousin,
Karen Branham Drechsel

Kenny & Gail,
We just got back to the lake today 6/2. Kenny I am sorry to learn of your mother's death. The lost of your mother will be one of the bigest impacts of grief that you have to face. May the Lord comfort and sustain you. I remember you mother even though it has been more than a half century since I saw her.

So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. We know that this has been a very difficult period for you and Gail. You can now rest knowing that your Mom is in a better place and there's been a burder lifted from your shoulders.

Lora was the nicest lady. She always spoke when we passed her house on our way to the swimming pool. She had the kindest face. Ken, you were lucky to have such a sweet Mother. Gail, I'm sure she was the greatest Mother-in-law. So sorry to hear of her passing. Take care, Nancy

My Dear Sweet Aunt Lora,

I will Love & Miss you forever. You were Strong Loving and Kind.In the 5 years I took care of you I learned so many things from you about our family. When you left wheelwright I kept part of you with me in my heart.I have all the stories you told me and all the memories we made together. So you rest now and I will know you are with me.When I'm sad I will feel you in the warm spring breeze, and see you in the beautiful summer flowers.I will know you are still with me When the leaves blow around in the fall wind, and winters first snow falls.I often look to the night sky and when I see the brightest Star I will know that it is you watching over me.You told me many times that you were the only one left & how you missed all your Brothers & Sisters & Uncle Frank.SO I will cry and be sad and that's ok for I know that you are happy you are with GOD & Family.
This is the only way I had to tell you goodbye for now and I will LOVE & Miss you until I see you again.

Love Judy
