As Bren Davis Jenkins' twin sister, I also remember many fun times we had with Ricky hangin out in Chester almost getting in trouble. He was a good friend in high school and we all shared the same sense of humor. I am so sorry for your loss and know Ricky will be missed. Sorry I could not attend the funeral, but my thoughts are with you Zanny, Kathy and family. I will light a luminary for Ricky at "Relay for Life" in Powhatan this Friday for my highschool friend taken away too early in life from this terrible disease. Much sympathy, Lynn

I met Ricky in the 8th grade and became friends, which lasted all through high school. Although we lost touch after school, I always remembered him as one of my best buds. I have many memories of hanging out, doing things we probably shouldn't have been doing, almost getting into trouble, but always laughing and having fun. I enjoyed being around him - he was my friend.

Ricky will be missed. I think the most poignant memory of him I will always have will be the heated basketball games and the patented hook shot he had from the dirt spot in my backyard. Memories such as these make you smile even in the most trying of times. I am sorry I can not be there, but am there in spirit.
