Mrs. Dorothy Garrett Crowder Munsel, 75, of Hopewell, passed away Tuesday May 20, 2008 in Chesapeake, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gordon L. Maitland, William A. Crowder, Harley U. Munsel. She was a native of Spout Springs, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Robert Jackson & Mary Lee Jamerson Garrett. She is survived by a son; Rodney G. Crowder & wife Carolyn of Chesapeake, daughters; Karen C. Brady & husband Steve of Mansfield, Texas, Sandra C. Leach & husband Grayson of Norfolk, sisters; Ruth Goulder of Colonial Heights, Pauline Bristow of Petersburg, Laura Wrenn of Chase city, grandchildren; Jessica & Rachael Leach, Rebecca, Kyle, Adam, & Blake Brady, a close friend Shelia Holland. The family will receive friends Thursday May 22, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
