Beverly L. Jones, age 73, of Chester, VA, departed this life on Monday, May 19, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Louis F. and Marie C. King Lauterbach. Beverly is survived by her husband, Bobby V. Jones, Sr.; children, Adrian J. Phillingame, Bobby V. Jones, Jr., Cheryl E. Jones, and Darla J. Mills; grandchildren, Bobby V. Jones, III, Joseph Jones, Matthew C. Tyler and Lauren Taylor Mills; great grandson, Michael C. Tyler and sister, Marie L. Clark. A funeral service will be held at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Bermuda Memorial Park. Condolences to the family may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com

Bobby, I'm truly sorry for the lost of your sweetheart. You have been a great husband,and father. Nobody can say you did not do your best.
You meant your vows " through sickness and health till death do us part". She is at peace now and out of pain . And you two will meet again. Love , Cathy

Bobby, Adrian, Van, Cheryl, Darla, & Grandchildren,
I read this verse and I thought of your Sweet Mother - I hope it helps ease your pain, a little. I know she would want to comfort you all, as she always did.
"To my dearest Family, some things I'd like to say....but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here, there's no more pain; just God's eternal love. Please do not be sad just because I'm out of sight. Remember, that I love you and I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
