Edgar Ray Scarborough, 78, of Colonial Heights, passed away Friday May 9, 2008. He was the son of the late Alton Joseph & Fannie Lois Bishop Scarborough. He was retired from Civil Service where he was a Inventory Management Specialist, was an Avid NASCAR fan whose favorite driver was Lennie Pond driver of the number 54 car. He is survived by his loving wife Joan C. Scarborough, daughters; Patsy Scarborough, Jackie Long, Donna Rabender, Sandra Hayashi & husband Keith, Denise Chandler & husband Marlon, 13 grandchildren, and 8 great grand-children. The family will receive friends Monday May 12, 2008, 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at the Chester Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Tuesday May 13 at 10:00 AM with interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
