Rose, Howard L.Friday, May 02, 2008
Howard Leonard Rose, 77, of Chester departed this life on Friday, May 2, 2008. He was the son of the late John Robert and Matilda Ann Tanner Rose. He was retired from the United States Air Force and was a retired theater projectionist. Howard was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Grace Irene Rose; three sons, Daniel W. Rose, Michael R. Rose and wife, Rhonda all of Chester, Jeffrey T. Rose and wife, Pam of Dinwiddie; six grandchildren, Candice, Danny, Megan, Chad, Kyle and Christopher and nephew, William E. Rose of Brunswick. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Sunday, May 4, 2008 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Graveside Services will be held at a later date in Sunset Memorial Park with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
