Wagner, Ruth F.

Ruth F.P. Costley Wagner, 89, of Hopewell died April 23, 2008 at the Hopewell Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie D. and Ruth E. Eanes Perkinson and a step grandson Gary W. Finchum. She was the widow of George W. Costley, Jr., and James E. Wagner. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Hopewell Lodge, Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Post 2. She attended Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and loved to dance; if the music played she was on the dance floor. She is survived by her son, Wesley C. “Butch” Costley and wife, Susan of Dinwiddie; two daughters, Donna C. Mann and husband, Bubba of Matoaca and Toni C. Hyman and husband, Bill of Southern Pines, NC; grandchildren, Troy Costley and wife, Sarah; Monica Tunstall and husband, Philip all of Chesterfield; Heather Perez and husband, Orlando of Loudon Co., VA; great-grandchildren, Sydney and Shelby Costley, Corey and Caleigh Tunstall, Nina Perez; step-grandson, Charles A. Finchum and wife, Kristie of Mechanicsville; step great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kimberlyn, and Kaden Finchum. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, April 28, 2008 in Blandford Cemetery with the Rev. Dale Gillis officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm Sunday at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
