Condolences

Dear Tommy, Timmy & Trudy,

George and Helen's influence indeed reaches world wide. As with Buddy Leavitt, who was in Korea when he learned of Helen's passing, we are in Holland when we received the news of Helen and of Trudy's little one.

It sparks memories that go back to the 1970s when George, Helen, Bonnie, Al, Bill, Barbara, Jean and I and several other took a host of kids to Big Meadows.

Who enjoyed it more? The kids or the adults? You know the answer because that was the kind of giving people George and Helen were.

Tommy, Timmy & Trudy,

I am sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I know that she will be missed by everyone.

The Rickman family was a part of my growing up in the neighborhood. Your Mom & Dad were wonderful parents, friends and neighbors. There is not a day that goes by that I think of their house on the top of the hill where we used to sleigh ride down the driveway during the winter, and in the summer time pick green apples of their trees.

Mrs. Rickman was a wonderful person and an inspiration to all the kids in the neighborhood.

My condolences are with you during this difficult time. May the beautiful memories of your Mother lessen the sadness you feel with each passing day and give you comfort, hope and strength.

In Christs Love,

I am good friend of George's (Tommy). I wanted to send my condolences to the family during this sad time. I never met Ms. Rickman, but from what George said about her, she sounded like a really great person. I know that she will be missed.

Dear Tommy, Tim, Trudy and family,

Our Heavenly Father has received another great saint this week. Your mom was a true inspiration to all who knew her. Your mom and your dad were great friends to my parents.

Please know that even though I live far away (Korea), I still think of the Rickman family often. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you bid farewell to a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Love in Christ,

Buddy Leavitt
