French, Majken

Majken Ronne French went to be with our Lord and her beloved husband Larry, on April 17, 2008. Majken was born in Zion, Illinois in 1915 and lived most of her adult life in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She moved to Chester, Virginia in 1997 to live with her daughter and son-in-law, where she was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Wednesday Morning Bible Class. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Phelps; sons Larry Thomas French and Hans Peter French, and their spouses; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Martha Quall of Mindoro, Wisconsin. A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Chester, on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Church Lutheran Bell Fund at 13028 Harrowgate Rd.
