Condolences

As a child I can remember visiting Aunt Lillie and Buddy. My father, Howard Bailey made certain we visited family as often as possible. I cherish those memories with a grateful heart. To Verne and Clarence, it's been a long time since I've seen either of you. It would be so good to catch up and reminiscence. Aunt Lillian and Aunt Nell join me in offering our deepest condolences in the loss of Buddy. We'll keep you close in our thoughts and prayers.

It saddens me to hear of another loved one gone. I will remember Buddy and all the fun times we had skating and goofing around. I wish I could have spent more time with him. I tried but he was a very private person and I respected that. Even so, I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I pray God will comfort all of you.

I remember my cousin Buddy with pleasure. I wish his ashes could have been scattered on a Civil War battleground because I know he would have liked that. Always intereasted in history he was a wealth of information, and I enjoyed talking to him. We kept in touch by telephone and cards. One of his prized possessions was the Edison music player and the waxed cartridge of Edison's voice. He was a good friend as well as a relative, and I shall miss him.
