Hobbs, Frances Burnette

Frances Burnette Hobbs, 79, of Hopewell died Thursday, April 17, 2008 in Bon Secours Regional Medical Center. She was born in Louisburg, NC and had been a long time resident of Hopewell. Mrs. Hobbs was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was the daughter of the late Giles and Iantha Joyner Burnette and the widow of William Seamon Hobbs. Mrs. Hobbs is survived by her daughter, Donna H. Duncan of Hopewell, her son Mitchell S. Hobbs and his wife Jan of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, five grandchildren, Sarah Duncan, Ashley Hobbs, Lyndsey Hobbs, Adam Duncan and Whitney Hobbs, a sister, Louise Fuller of Hopewell, a nephew, Larry Fuller of San Diego, CA and several cousins. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 21, 2008 at 11:00 AM in First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Dr. Ronald Bullis, pastor officiating.
