So sorry to hear of your moms passing. She was a dear friend when my family lived in Prince George and directed many plays at Salem always including my children. She suffered through many Tupperware parties for me and was always a freindly smiling face in church on Sunday. Remembering her fondly, your family is in our prayers.

It was a wonderful service of remembrance for your mom. In death as in life Momma E inspires us all to live life to the fullest, blessing all those God has placed in our paths, as she did. Your family is in our prayers.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time of great loss in your lives. Mrs. Eastep was a great lady and will be sorely missed by many. Some of my fondest memories are the time I spent with the Eastep family at the many cattle shows we traveled to around the country. I can still see "Momma" sitting in the tack area beside their display of Simmental cattle and the pride she took in the hard work that her children had done with their show string and the joy she had when one of their animals brought home a championship banner. I miss those days and I'll miss Momma Eastep.

To the Eastep family: I was sorry to read of your mother's passing. I know what it is to lose your mother, as mine has been in heaven since she left us on 12 Apr 2003. It's hard but hold the good memories of her in your heart. I enjoyed her column in the Dinwiddie Monitor and clipped and saved all of the recipes she so generously shared with her readers. Her sweet grace at the end of each article was a nice touch as well. May God bless you during this time. He will give you peace. Love, Becky
