Condolences

Marie-I was sorry to learn of your dad's death, losing a loved one is something we all must go through and while we're never ever ready for it we do learn to accept it over time. I want you to know that we have put the information about your dad on our class website www.63bearcats.com under the "Roses & Thorns" section. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, David Hall-SHS-Class of '63

i worked with otis when he got his TTY machine to be able to call his family. he was so excited the first time we called his children. he was a wonderful man. he was a devoted family man and husband. i got to know him and mildred quite well. they were a joy to visit. and he would stop by the office once in a while to say hi and share one of his bear hugs. i always enjoyed seeing him. he was an inspiration and his learning new technology and sign language in his early eighties proved you can indeed do whatever you want to do at any age!!
otis, you will be missed but you will welcomed above by many.

I am a co-worker of Gene Raines and we wanted to tell Gene that he and his family are in our prayers and thoughts. We heard so many wonderful stories about Otis thru Gene that many of us felt we knew him. May God's Grace and light shine perpetual on Otis and his wonderful family.

Please know our prayers are with you at this time. We love Otis - and we have missed him. It was a joy to see him just a few months ago. We will remember his cheerful smile, his signing, and his peanut brittle! God bless you all.
