Heinline, Mentory E.Tuesday, March 18, 2008
Mentory Elizabeth Heinline, 92, of Gum Springs, Virginia formerly of Petersburg, passed away Monday March 17, 2008 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her parents Eugene H. & Mary E. Bond Hylton, husband Archie E. Heinline, a son Randy Dean Heinline. , and was a retired Manager of the Military Clothing Department at Fort Lee Virginia. She is survived by her daughter Vickie H. Collawn & husband Aubrey of Gum Springs, grandson; JR Sutherland of Floyd, great-granddaughter Jade Sutherland of Floyd, several nieces & nephews. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Washington Street United Methodist Church, 22 East Washington Street, Petersburg, Virginia 23803. Condolences may be registered at Condolences
Vickie, May God continue to bless you and family as you heal. May your days be blessed with the warmth of memories, the light of peace and the love of friends. Gail Branch Drumgoole I worked with Mentory when I was a just 16. She was my manager at the main PX in Fort Lee. I always thought she was such a nice lady. I remember her telling me her name was an Indian name meaning beautiful woman. How true that was. Post a condolence
