CORINNE COOK MUNCY, age 77, a resident of Dendron, passed away peacefully at her home in Dendron on Monday, March 3, 2008. Born on April 18, 1930 in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late William J. “Dub” Cook & Evelyn Wylie Cook. Known by her friends and family as “Cookie” and “Aunt Ba”, she was a devoted and loving wife and mother, and held a special place in her heart for children’s causes.
She is survived by her husband of over 55 years, Benny Wade Muncy; a son, Wade S. Muncy and wife Lisa; Grandson, Stuart Hicks and family; a sister, Joyce Jasper; and nine cherished nephews and nieces and their families.
Due to illness in the family, a funeral service will be held at a later date... Arrangements are being handled by the Purviance Chapel of J. T.
