Williams, Alice

Alice Carr Williams, age 91, of Richmond, VA, died on Tuesday, March 4, 2008. Born in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of the late Waverly J. and Nina Blunt Carr. She was a member of Westhunt Baptist Church of Richmond, VA for 20 plus years. Alice was a very caring and giving person and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband John E. Williams, Jr. Alice is survived by her son, Granville E. Williams and wife Eleanor; grandchildren, Kevin Williams and wife Kathy, all of Richmond, VA, Kimberly Drumheller and husband Kevin, of Columbia, VA; great grandchildren, Christopher and Daniel Williams, Matthew, Hunter, and Christian Zeppa; sisters, Agnes Wilkerson, Edith Harlow, Frances Williamson, all of Chester, VA; and brother, Waverly J. Carr, Jr., of Amelia County, VA. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, March 6, 2008 from 4 to 7:30 P.M. A funeral service will be held there on Friday, March 7 at 2 P.M., with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park.
