Henshaw, Ruby J.

Ruby J. Henshaw, age 89, of Chesterfield, VA, died on Monday, March 03, 2008. She was born in Greene County, TN, the daughter of the late Ed and Rosa Pierce Cook. Ruby loved to cook, was a great seamstress, and a very kind, generous and loving person. She was retired from Brown & Williamson after 30 plus years of service. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Everette Henshaw, and son, Everette Lee Henshaw. She is survived by 5 children, sons, John E. Henshaw and Douglas W. Henshaw; daughters, Elizabeth H. Schrum and husband John, Margaret H. Moore and husband Horace, and Bonnie H. Howard and husband Kenneth; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home of Chesterfield on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home on Thursday, at 3 p.m. with interment in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
