Janie Lucille Waters Allen, 80, of Hopewell went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 29, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Bessie Moore Waters. Lucille was a long time member of West End Presbyterian Church in Hopewell. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James T. Allen; children, Cliff Allen and Sherri Allen Brooks and husband, Rodney; grandchildren, Nadine Brooks and Russell Allen and a sister, Fay Nichols and husband, Leland. The family will receive friends at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Monday, March3, 2006 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at West End Presbyterian Church in Hopewell on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
