Schaaf, Charles T.

Charles T. Schaaf, 46, of Petersburg died Thursday, February 28, 2008. He was a native of Petersburg and the son of the late Charles H. and Paula Bulifant Schaaf. He was a member of the American Legion Post 2, an automobile enthusiast, a master electrician an experienced carpenter, loved making people laugh, cooking, camping, and dancing. He was married for five years to his loving wife Tammy, was a great father who loved his children dearly. He is, survived by four sons, Christopher Todd Schaaf of Colonial Heights, Kyle Joseph Schaaf, Vince William Scott and Tyler Blaine Scott all of Prince George Co.; brother, Craig Schaaf and wife, Bonnie of Matoaca; numerous aunts and uncles; mother and father-in-law, Richard and Diane Wall, brother-in-law Jamie Wall all of Dinwiddie. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, March 3, 2008 at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Sunday at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com

Please accept my condolences. I knew his Father and Mother all my life. I also delivered mail to them on Crater Road. My thoughts are with you.

Tammy,
I am truly sorry to hear of you and your family's loss. Todd has always and will always fill a very bright spot in the hearts of all in the Smith family. Even though I had not been in touch with Todd the last few years, I am thankful to have considered him one of my best friends for 37 years.
