Charles Wilbur “Wibbie” Cobb, Jr. 69, of Prince George, died Thursday, February 28, 2008, in Southside Regional Medical Center. He was born in Hopewell and life-long resident. .Mr. Cobb was a retired production planner for Honeywell Corporation, a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #1472 and the First Baptist Church. Mr. Cobb was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Wilbur and Mollie Virginia Addison Cobb, Sr. , his first wife, Joyce Lee Smith Cobb and his second wife, Elizabeth Hening Cobb. Surviving are his daughter, Monica L. Tate of Chesterfield, a son, Michael Van Cobb of Prince George, a grandchild, Kasey Lee Pulley of Chesterfield, and a special friend, Barbara Wallace of Prince George. The family will receive friends Friday, February 29, 2008 from 6-8 P.M. in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 10:00 A. M. in the funeral hone chapel with Rev. Dr. Alex Roberts , Unity Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association 9221 Forest Hill Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23235 Condolences may be registered with www.jtmorriss.com
