Mrs. Florine Laurel Grosch Boggs, 76, of Hopewell, VA, died Friday, February 15, 2008 at Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Boggs was a retired Quality Control Specialist at Ft. Lee and was a member of the Woman’s Club of Hopewell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Max Julius and Marion Shores Grosch and two brothers, Herman Grosch and Raymond Grosch. She is survived by her husband, Cecil John Boggs, Jr. of Hopewell , two sons, Mark A. Dalton and wife, Amy, of Hopewell, Dr. Bruce A Dalton and wife, Andrea, of Canaan Valley, W. VA and step-son C. John Boggs, III and wife, Cecelia, of Fairfax, VA., one step-daughter, Susan Sullivan Horner and husband, Robert, of Chilesburg, VA, seven grandchildren, Allison A. Dalton of Hopewell, Kelly Boggs and Kate Boggs of Fairfax, Leah Horner of Louisa, VA, Aaron Horner of Fredericksburg, VA, Isaac Horner of Chilesburg, VA, Beau Horner of Charlottesville, VA. and a sister, Marion Grosch Corriher of Hopewell. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 3 -5 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 18, 2008 at 2 p.m.in the Hopewell Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Alex Roberts of Unity Baptist Church, officiating.
