Sutton, Emily House

Emily House Sutton, age 69, of Hopewell, VA, died on Sunday, February 10, 2008. She was born in Pickens, SC, the daughter of the late Norman and Martha Grumbles House. Mrs. Sutton was also preceded in death by a son, George Ashley Colbert, a sister, Carol House Moore, and brothers, Norman House, Jr., and Dewitt House. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Sutton is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Raymond J. “Jerry” Sutton; sons, Brian Colbert of Tampa, FL, and Jerry R. Sutton and wife Laura of Hopewell; daughters, Cameron Colbert McKinney and husband Sean, and Sherri Warthan McClendon and husband Bruce, both of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Kendall, Taylor, Alexis, Austin, Colton, Hunter, and Callie; brothers, Kenneth House and wife Mary of Tampa, FL, and David House and wife Debbie of Fredericksburg, VA.. A memorial service will be held in honor of Mrs. Sutton on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, 7 p.m. at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Hopewell.
