Hi Mayes!
Sorry to hear about your Dad. I just found out today.
He was a good man. I have many memories being at your house and him always finding time to talk to me, usually bringing a smile to my face.
Please tell your Mom and Debbie that they, also, will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Take Care,
Jack

Mayes and Debbie,

Even though I have been gone from Hopewell for quite some time, I still read the Hopewell News every day and miss living there. I was saddened to read of the passing of your father and wanted to take a moment to convey my heartfelt condolences to you during this time of loss. The contributions and public service your family has made over the years and the lasting friendships you have built are what sustains the City. I'm sure your father smiles down with great pride and I wanted to join in the chorus of voices who know what he has done and appreciate his life and works.
