I am very sad to hear about the passing of Dallas. I remember Dallas fondly growing up on Poplar street. He delivered our newspaper and played baseball with us. Dallas was always there with a smile and a helping hand.

I will treasure his memory.

You are all in my prayers.

To Dallas' family: On Saturday when I heard that Dallas had passed my mind quickly flashed back through some of the many times he led singing at church. Dallas would always speak to everyone. He truly loved the Lord and showed it everyday. Even though he has gone on to better things, remember he is never very far from you. He is in your heart and in all the wonderful memories you shared. Peace.

Our sympathy and prayers are with you in this time of loss. We wish you the comfort of family and friends during this sad and difficult time. I can remember growing up in Hopewell and Dallas often times compared our newspaper routes and played pick-up basketball games together. The first time I went to Cawson Street with my future wife (Nancy Bethel)I remember Dallas teasing Nancy about me. When we returned for visits Dallas always took time to seek us out and welcome us home. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I was terrably sorry to hear about the passing of Dallas. He was a good kind gentle man and I loved talking to him whenever I saw him at Hardees in Hopewell. The last time I saw him was at Rosa's in Hopewell with his sister and my wife and I stopped to talk to the both of them. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and the rest of the family.
