Iva Richardson Finklea Willoughby, age 84, a resident of Wakefield, died Sunday Feb. 3, 2008 in Suffolk. Born Sept. 5, 1923 in Portsmouth, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Louise Talbot Richardson. She was a member of the Burrows Memorial Baptist Church in Norfolk, and a member of the VFW Post #4160 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by a daughter Marsha L. Davis and her husband, Russell of Wakefield; two grandsons, Michael Davis and Garrett Davis; and two great grandchildren, Grace Davis and Khloe Davis.
A graveside service will be held in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. with the Rev. Don Harris officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. at The Purviance Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Wakefield. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. No matter what the age, it still is a traumatic loss. You mom brought a smile to my face and my fathers many days. Our love and prayers are with you!
