Condolences

Debbie - I know that it has been many years since we have seen each other but I kept in touch with how you were doing through seeing Pete at Hardee's many mornings as I was making my way to work during my second career (after Allied). I will always remember the times that we all had together when you and Pete first met and I will always cherish the friendships that were maintained throughout the years. Sometimes I don't know what I would have done without Pete at work to make my day for me.

Please know that you are in my prayers and that if there is anything that I can do, please feel free to call me. I am in the phone book.

Debbie,

We are so sorry to hear about Pete. Mom just spoke with Catherine and she gave her the news. Pete's passion for life made a significant impression on my life. I cannot begin to tell you how important those experiences at Rudd's Creek were to me. Both of you will always hold a special place in my heart. Mom and dad send their condolences and I'm sure they will try to call you soon. You will be in our prayers.

Debbie,
Anita and I were so sorry to hear of Pete,s passing. My name is Buddy Wagner. Anita and I met you at one of the family reunions several years ago over in Colonial Hts.Pete was a cousin of my mother, Thelma Temple Wagner. I saw and talked to Pete about a year ago. I think it was at Hardees in Hopewell. It was always a joy to see and talk to him. He always made you laugh , and enjoyed talking about family. He always mentioned my Mother and talked about how she loved a good joke. We know you will have many good memories of Pete, and pray that the Lord will give you peace, and strength as you deal with your loss.

Debbie, I am so sorry to hear about Pete. I saw him at one of the luncheons recently and he looked great. I also saw him at the Toyato Dealership and we had a talk. He was a great guy and we had fun working together. We also had fun at those Allied dances we all use to go to. I can't believe it has been so long since I've seen you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Marion and Ted Simpson

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family & friends of "Pete".

We had a common bond, We both shared an uncle that was one of the kindest human beings ever. Eddie Wells. Pete was kin by blood ,and I was kin by marraige. Eddie Wells was married to my fathers sister,Evelyn R Wells. They both lived in Hopewell.
Pete and I had a lot of good times at Wells Half Acre in Surry County back in the 60's.
Pete helped me get a job at Allied Chemical after my four years in the Air Force in 1965. I didn't stay long. I lost contact with Pete when I joined the Richmond Fire Dept. for 34 years till
retirement in 2002.

I'm sorry we could not have been more in touch through the years. Pete will be missed by all who new him.

Debbie,
It is so hard to lose someone you love, and although these words can not take away the sadness and void you feel, know that we are here for you. We hold you in our thoughts and prayers.
