Clements, Calvin A.

Calvin Avery Clements, 81, of Spring Grove went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 24, 2008 in Chippenham Medical Center. He was born in Surry County and was a life time farmer having farmed in both Surry and Prince George County. He was the son of the late James Henry and Laura Avery Clements. Mr. Clements is survived by his wife, Ann E. Clements of Spring Grove, a daughter, Janice C. White and her husband Bob, a son, Calvin Wayne Clements and his wife Jennifer, a grandson, David W. Clements, a granddaughter, Dana M. Clements, a brother, James Edward Clements, and a sister, Daisy Leigh Goodrich. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 26, 2008 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 27, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Roy Rowland, of Carsley United Methodist Church and Pastor Keith Whitfield of Waverly Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Waverly Cemetery.
