Pallay, Myrtle L.

Myrtle Louise Pallay, 82, of Colonial Heights, died Saturday, January 12, 2008. She was born in Columbus, OH, the daughter of the late Harley F. and Bernadine Williams Hamler. Mrs. Pallay was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and their women’s organization in Colonial Heights, and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 82 and 8 & 40 in Columbus. She also belonged to the Young at Heart Seniors through Elm St. Baptist Church, Petersburg, and the Central High School Class of 43 plus Alumni Association in Columbus. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Victor Pallay; daughter, Victoria Henderson and husband Ed of Colonial Heights; son, Joseph P. Pallay of Titusville, FL; grandchildren, Amy Henderson Ernst and husband Matt, James J. Henderson and wife Brooke, and Katie M. Henderson; great-grandchildren Tyler Samuel Ernst and Anna Elizabeth Ernst. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 15th at 2pm at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at a later date in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
