Currin, Alma D.Tuesday, January 08, 2008
Alma Daniel Currin, age 97, died Monday, January 7, 2008 at Lucy Corr Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by husband C. Floyd Currin. She is survived by a daughter, Rie Anderson, of Tampa, FL, formerly Rose Marie Currin, of Chesterfield County, a son C.F. “Sonny” Currin Jr., his wife Betty, of Chester, VA; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 10, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m in the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service at 3050 West Hundred Road, Chester, VA 23831. Funeral service will follow there on Friday at 11 a.m. with interment in Enon Cemetery at 3 p.m., located at 2298 Enon Road, Oxford, NC, 27565.
