McDiarmid, Mildred M.

Mildred Morris McDiarmid, 98, of Hopewell, passed away Friday January 4, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Charles T. & Roberta Robinson Morriss and the widow of John Thomas McDiarmid. She is survived by daughters; Peggy McDiarmid Thore & husband, George of Hopewell, Kay McDiarmid Thomas of Lillington NC, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 9 great- great grandchildren, brother; James C. Morris of Newbern NC. Sister; Melva H. Morris of Hopewell, numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday January 7, 2008, 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A grave side service will be held Tuesday January 8 at 2:00PM at Bermuda Memorial Park in Chester, Virginia.
