Bailey, William D.Wednesday, December 19, 2007
William Douglas Bailey, 82, of Petersburg departed this life on Thursday, December 19, 2007. He was the son of the late Benjamin Eason Bailey and Georgia Britt Bailey. He is survived by his wife, Minnie R. Bailey; son, Kirk Bailey; daughters, Brenda Stell, Carolyn Waddell and Sherri Kennedy; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Friday, December 21, 2007 from 6 to 8 pm. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 1:30 pm at Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Wesy Chappell, 1117 Ft. Hayes dr., Petersburg, VA 23805. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com. Condolences
