Condolences

Otis was my favorite uncle. I remember spending alot of time at his house. I have alot of wonderful memories of him. I remember the '69 GTO and how he loved to drive fast. I was sorry to see he had passed.

Love to the family,

Jane (Della's daughter,
Otis' sister)

Otis was my Uncle Pee Wee. He was an older brother to my father Robert Wright Sr. He was a wonderful loving and caring man. I have many great memories of his visits to us in Illinois and our visits to him in Virginia. He always had a story to tell and memories to share. He will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to his loved ones and friends.

Otis was my "Uncle Pee Wee". My dad is Bob Wright (Otis's younger brother). I remember Uncle Pee Wee as a fun loving and wonderful man. I remember many visits he made to us years ago. We had made a trip out to Virginia in 2003 and I am really glad we had a chance to get together and was able to get my dad out to see everyone. He was a wonderful and a much loved man, he will be greatly missed. My heart and love go out to his entire family and friends.

Otis was my Step-Grandfather. I always thought the world of him. He was a great man. He was the last of the "good old boys" who was a real family person. He was always there when anyone needed him. Otis brought joy to many people in his lifetime. He treated me like I was his own. I have many fond memories of the stories of his childhood and years he would tell me, along with the jokes that always made me laugh. My condolences go out to all of his family and frinds. He is greatly loved and missed. Words cannot convey the pain that we are all feeling now. They don't make them like him anymore, and the loss that we feel today is profound. He will always be in my thoughts, my heart, and my prayers. Not a day will go by that I wont think of him or miss him, until we are joined again in heaven, I love you papa.

The memory of Otis will always be in our hearts.
We little knew that morning
that God was going
to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us
one by one
the chain will link again."

May you rest in peace.
