Cleaton, Sr. Everett M. "Pete"

Everett M. “Pete” Cleaton, Sr., 90, of Dinwiddie died Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at the Waverly Health Care Center. He was the son of the late William Jackson & Myra Darby Cleaton. He was a retired farmer and a native of Dinwiddie Co. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth B. Cleaton; one son, Everett M. Cleaton, Jr. and wife, Marjorie; one granddaughter, Donna C. Smith and husband, Matthew; one great-grandson, Alex Kim all of Dinwiddie; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, December 21, 2007, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, McKenney, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crawford United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 328, Dinwiddie, VA 23841. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

During this rigid time, please know that you and Marjorie and the rest of your family are in my thoughts and prayers. "Papa" was a darling man and I know that he will be missed. If there is anything that I can do, please do not hesitate to let me know.
