Taulbee, Charles P.

Lieutenant Colonel Charles P. “Pat” Taulbee, U. S. Army Retired, of Chesterfield, surrounded by his family, went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2007, after a brief illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Molly M. “Milly” Taulbee; two daughters, Pat Taulbee of Chester and Peggy Taulbee of Salem, VA; three grandchildren, Michelle Osborn and her husband, Ozzy, of Virginia Beach, Patrick Smith and his wife, Leah, of Roanoke, and Greg Smith and his wife, Sherry, of Chesterfield; and five great-grandchildren. He was truly a part of America’s greatest generation. He served his country as an officer in the U. S. Army during World War II and the Korean War, and as a civilian during the Vietnam War. He loved his family very much and will be remembered by them always. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 11, at the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Pastor Phillip Hunt of Riverway Community Church officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
