Irene Moody Marshall, 98 of Petersburg died December 5, 2007 in Eden Pines. She was a native of Dinwiddie and the daughter of the late Robert Henry and Lottie Ann Elmore Moody. She was the widow of Osborne T. Marshall. She was a retired partner of George L. Williams Motor Company. She was a former member of Memorial United Methodist Church, member of Kenwood United Methodist Church and a member of Eastern Star. She was predeceased by brothers, Robert Elmore, Henry Woodrow, Asa Carlyle and Benjamin Croom Moody. She is survived by a sister, Opal May Moody Hiscox of Long Beach, CA; four nephews, Asa Carlyle Moody, Jr. George Lenoard Hiscox, Jr, Gary P. Marshall, Robert Edward Moody; five nieces, Sue Bolling Hollis, Kelly Bailey, Ann Bryant Moody, Anabel Beatty and Martha Alig. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, December 10, 2007 at Blandford Cemetery with the Rev. T. Todd Smith officiating. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.


Condolences

We remember Irene from Memorial Church, and also our senior club (XYZ club). She played a great part in the life of Memorial. She was such a fine
lady and will be missed by all who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

When we think of Irene we think of Memorial Methodist Church and the fellowship that we shared for many years. Our prayers are with the family at this time. Irene will always share a place in our heart.
