Tipton, Dorian W.

Dorian Williams Tipton, age 93, of Prince George, VA, and formerly of Petersburg, VA, died on Thursday, November 22, 2007. She was born in Petersburg, VA, the daughter of the late George L. and Clara W. Williams. Dorian was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Clarence A. “Bush” Tipton. She was a loving wife and mother, and lifetime member of West End Baptist Church, Petersburg. Her survivors include a son, Donald C. Tipton and his wife Janet of Chesterfield, VA; a daughter, Bonnie J. Tipton of Prince George, VA; two grandchildren, Bryan C. Tipton of Miami, FL, and Christopher A. Tipton and his wife Margaret of Stamford, CT; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Davin Tipton. Graveside funeral services will be held in Mrs. Tipton’s honor on Monday, November 26, 2007 at 11 a.m. in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA. Services are being conducted by the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield, with John W. Crocker, retired minister, officiating.
