Williamson, Phoebe

Phoebe Taliaferro Williamson, of Chester, VA, died on November 19, 2007. She was born in Essex County, VA, the daughter of William Taliaferro and Daisy Chapman. Phoebe was a dedicated member of Chester Baptist Church and Chester Garden Club. She is survived by her husband, John S. Williamson; son, John S. Williamson III and wife, Gail of Columbia, South Carolina, daughter, Cathy MacQuarrie and husband, Chuck of Nottoway County, VA; granddaughters, Jennifer A. Williamson of Carrboro, NC., Kristin MacQuarrie of Jacksonville, FL., grandsons John M. Williamson and wife, Brenden of Youngsville, NC., Ryland MacQuarrie of Dunedin, FL., Eric D. Williamson and wife Becky, of Charleston, SC., great-granddaughter Avery P. Williamson of Youngsville, NC; great- grandsons Owen B. Williamson of Youngsville, NC., and Connor M. Williamson of Charleston, SC. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, November 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 23, at Chester Baptist Church at 1 p.m., with interment following at Sunset Memorial Park.
