Roller,Mildred Page

Mildred “Page” Roller, 73, of Petersburg died Friday, November 16, 2007. She was born in Richmond the daughter of the late William C Derby and Mildred Derby Savoy. Mrs. Roller was an avid artist, a member of the Petersburg Area Art League and a member of the YMCA. She is survived by her husband Ronald J. Roller; two daughters Cindy Counter and Rhonda Roller; a grandson Jeffery Savoy; a granddaughter Susan Wolfe-Powell and husband Adam; two great-granddaughters Chynna Savoy and Zoe Powell; a brother William Derby and wife Nina; cousins, Nancy Cole, Harriett Mayes and Barbara Jacks. She was also preceded in death by her brother Richard Derby. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Monday, November 19th from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 20th at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Blandford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Petersburg Area Art League, 7 Old Street Petersburg, Virginia 23803. dear page I am very sorry to hear about your passing ,I will miss you dear friend ,you always had a lovely smile for everyone and I especially loved the flower you wore in your hair ,it showed your light spirit and your happy heart . I was very proud to have known you page and although it was for a short period of time we had fun together with our few trips and out trip to the theatre ,you had such a joy for life and for all your new experiences .I know some day we will meet again and we will chat about all the things we liked to discuss .be happy now page until we meet love always bernadette

Very sorry to here of Page's passing. Old Town will not be the same without her smiling face,but through her art work she will live on forever in Old Town Petersburg and in our hearts.
