Condolences

Dear Jones' family,

I have just learned of the passing of Mr. Jones. He was a great man, a great friend to my parents, and great role model for all, and will be greatly missed. I have many memories of Mr. Jones and will always cherish the fact that I new him. It has been so long since I have seen any of you, but know I think of you all often. I am currently living in South Korea. Please let your mom know I am sending my thoughts and prayers to you.

My uncle, Horace Jones, the youngest of eight brothers and sisters of my also now departed mother,
was a wonderful member of the Jones family and someone who shall be greatly missed by all who knew him. I personally do regret not having been able to have much contact with him in recent years, as we live in Cologne, Germany and have not returned to the US for some years now.
Ourlove goes out to his wife Pat and his children and grandchildren, and all who knew and loved him, hoping their grief will diminish with passing time

Just one of many fine memories of Mr. Jones, and that is of Mr. Jones cutting his grass every week, at least,(sometimes more often), on his red Murray, wearing his famous brim hat, and waving upon seeing us or anyone passing by. Gosh, he will be sorely missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with Mrs. Jones and the family,
a long time neighbor,

I was always comforted by seeing Mr. Jones seated on the piano side of the sanctuary. He was a kind and gentle spirit--may his legacy of faith and service continue in his children and grandchildren. It is our prayer that God's peace surround each of you as you remember him in your memories and your hearts.

We have fond memories of Mr. Jones. Years go by, he was so faithful each Sunday in coming to First Baptist Church. It has been pleasant seeing him come recently with a daughter or a grandchild and he just seemed "right at home." He has left us a spirit of dedication and faithfulness to our Lord. We know his family will miss his presence. May God bless each of you.
