Wilson, Thelma T.Sunday, October 28, 2007
Mrs. Thelma Traylor Wilson, 90, widow of Garland Wilson and formerly of Colonial Heights, Va., died Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Harbor Health Care in Lewes, DE. Mrs. Wilson was a native of Ettrick, Va. and was the daughter of the late Merritt M. and Martha Thrift Traylor. She was preceded in death by sisters, Bernice Reigner and Margaret Traylor and a brother, Alvin Traylor. She was a member of Highland United Methodist Church, and retired from Civil Service at Fort Lee in 1980. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Nancy Wilson of Bethany Beach, DE; granddaughter, Melissa Lewis & husband, Steve, and great granddaughter Elaina Lewis, all of Moore, OK. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, November 2 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 AM on Saturday November 3, in Blandford Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Rawlings officiating. I am Gladys Groome's brother and have known your mother for seventy years. Due to my health, I cannot come to the funeral home or the service, but my thoughts and prayers are with you.
