I want the family to know that, I, Justin, and Katlyn give their condolencees to the Thompson family. Duke i am going to miss our trips to roanoke rapids and also listining to Jerry Clower tapes. I remember the day you dropped me off at Jenkins to get my van in Roanoke Rapids, and as you were following me back to richmond you drove by me on interstate 95 and put your thumb up as if you wanted to know if the van was running alright. After i got to your house you asked me if i thought that the thumbs up meant that the van was running alright. You said it did not mean that, but it meant if the van broke down you need to put your thumb out and try to get a ride home by hitchhiking.Duke i am going to miss you.
