Phillip G. Spencer, 68, of Chester, VA, died on October 22, 2007. He was born on October 12, 1939 in Greenfield, Indiana to Charles C. Spencer and Julia Andrick. Mr. Spencer was a veteran of the United States Army and served for 14 years. He is survived by daughters Shelly Spencer, of IN; Michelle Motsinger, and husband Jim, of IN; son Scott Spencer, of IN; sister Jane A. Markins, and husband Bill, of Chester, VA; brother Alan C. Spencer, and wife Sallie, of TN; nieces Sharon Biggs, of Chester, VA; Regina Baldwin, and husband Danny, of Dinwiddie, VA; nephews Richard Markins, and wife Amy, of Colonial Heights, VA; Brandon Markins, of Chester, VA; numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2007 in Amelia Veterans Cemetery at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. to my family in virginia,i know you all know i loved my dad very much and i know he loved you to im gonna miss him so much i feel like part of my heart has been ripped out i just want you to know that i will never forget what you have done for me and my father i wish i could pay you back somehow and you all are in my prayers and i love all of you please keep in touch with me you are all i have left of him
