Jones, Vivian M.

Vivian Mae Jones, 85, of Chester, Virginia passed away Monday, October 15, 2007. She was the daughter of Willie Newman & Naomi Sheffield Williams and the widow of Roland Page Jones. She was a longtime active member of Elm Street Baptist Church in Petersburg, member of the Ruth Bible Class, and performed numerous other church activities, and a loving Christian wife and mother .She is survived by two daughters: Kay Ellen Woolridge & husband, Thomas of Chester, Virginia, Janet Page DeBernard & husband, David of Hartsville, SC, Grandson: Robert Thomas Woolridge of Colonial Heights, brother: Roy U. Williams of Lynchburg. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Tuesday October 16, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. A funeral service will be held Wednesday October 17, 2007, 1:00 PM at Elm Street Baptist Church, Petersburg, with the Rev. Harvey Skinner officiating; interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park.
