Eugene Hinton Grizzard, Jr., 94, a resident of Claremont, CA, died Thursday, September 20, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Adele M. Grizzard. Born in Boykins, VA, in 1913, Mr. Grizzard was the son of the late Eugene Hinton Grizzard and Edna Gardner Grizzard. He served in World War II as a member of the U.S. Army, and was a retired civil engineer.

A graveside service in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, VA, will be held Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Raymond Bunn officiating. Purviance Chapel, J.T.
