Boone, Roger L.

Roger Lee Boone, age 78, of Chesterfield, VA, died on Saturday, September 22, 2007. He was born in Ellicott City, MD, the son of the late Fred W., Jr. and Mary E. Boone. He was a member of the Ionic Lodge # 145 Reisterstown, MD, and Boumi Shrine Temple, Baltimore, MD. Mr. Boone is survived by a loving wife of 48 years, Lois A. Boone; two children, Allison L. Corbin and husband Eugene of Chesterfield, and Lawrence M. Boone of Dallas TX; three grandchildren, Alex L. and Heather M. Corbin, and Megan D. Edwards; and one sister, Marilyn Walker of Westminster, MD. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield on Monday, September 24, 2007 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will follow there on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will be held in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield.

Lois: Bob and I were saddened to hear about Roger. The last time I had contact with you I did not know he was getting sick again. Please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and your family during this trying and sad time.

Aunt Lois, we wish we could be there with you today and share in remembering Uncle Roger. We loved him and love you still. We will be with you in spirit today. Our prayers are with you and the kids on this hard day.

Dear Lois, we were very sorry to hear about Roger and know you are going through a very sad time. Our best wishes are with the family. We have been missing you both and knowing of Roger's passing has been heart breaking for us. I can not even begin to imagine the pain you are going through. So I offer my sympathies. Take care Lois.
