Laura Lee, John and family: Please accept my heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy on Mr. Garrett's death. There is little, if anything, that I can say even to begin to allay your grief and sense of loss. At times like this, we have nothing upoon which to fall back except our faith. I hope that the following two passages will give you some measure of comfort, as they have to me during times of sorrow. "The eternal God is your Refuge, and underneath are the everlasting Arms." Deut. 33:27. "These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world!" John 16:33. Once again, please accept my heartfelt sympathy on Mr. Garrett's death.
Dear Becky and Family,
I am saddened to hear of the loss of your sweet father whom I remember fondly from long ago. I am praying for you all that God will be ever present with his miraculous strength and deep comfort as you go through this difficult time. My mom died in July in Hopewell, and I am trusting that your father has joined her in the place where "eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered the heart of man the things God has prepared for those who love Him." (I Cor. 2:9)
Love,
Vicky Holt Abramson
Gwyn, my thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. We buried our Mom yesterday...the most difficult thing I've been through. Dad is handling better than Dreama and I expected. They were together for 65 years. I remember our school days together.....Mom worked at Phillip Levy & your Dad at Butterworths.
God is with them now in a better place.
My sympathy to your Mom and all.
Thinking of you,
Sandra
Becky, You and your family are in my prayers. May God's exceeding mercy be upon you all and may His peace that surpasses all understanding be poured within your hearts. I pray that your dad is now resting in the arms of the Almighty, where he truly is at peace.
Shirley & family,
Gary and I send our thoughts and prayers to let you know they are with you at this time. May the Lord ease your pain that is felt today and by remembering the wonderful memories all of you have shared will get you through this difficult time.
Gary said, is he the man that wore a hat to church and I said yes, then he remembered who he was. It has been a few years since I have seen you and if I remember correctly it was at a Homecoming at Powers. My mom was still alive then and she will be gone 9 years this Tuesday the 25th.
We live in Maryland, so we won't be able to attend the services, but know that the Garrett Family will be in our prayers.
Take care and Gob Bless each of you.
