Reidmiller, Edna P.

Edna Padgett Reidmiller, 87 of Hopewell died Wednesday September 19, 2007 at her residence. She was a life long member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church and retired Chief Administrative Officer for Communications at Fort Lee. Mrs. Reidmiller was preceded in death by her parents, Talley E. and Iva A. Blackmon Padgett, sisters, Juanita P. Hall, Theresa P. Hatchell, Hazel P. Bryant, and a brother, William R. Padgett. She is survived by her husband, George Anthony Reidmiller, a son Randall Kent Reidmiller, a daughter, Terri Wells Hedgepeth and her husband Wayne, all of Hopewell, 4 grandchildren, Aaron Anthony Reidmiller, Landon Kent Reidmiller and their mother Judith Rayner Reidmiller, all of Hopewell, Brian Reid Hedgepeth of Richmond, and Blair Renee’ Hedgepeth of Alexandria, a nephew William Dwaine Wells and his wife Jennie of Chester, nieces, Doris P. Hill of Chester, Virginia Mae Padgett of Petersburg, and a sister-in-law, Beatrice H. Padgett of Hopewell. The family will receive friends Sunday, September, 23, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Monday, September 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Edward Bellis, pastor of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church officiating.. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, 1201 Blackstone Avenue, Hopewell, Virginia 23860. Condolences may be registered with www.jtmorriss.com

I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your dear mother. I want you to know that I am praying for you all that God will be ever-present and close to you, and that you will feel His peace that surpasses all understanding even as you face these days of despair and emptiness. Although I didn't know Mr. Reidmiller personally, I do know Terri and Wayne and please accept my condolences and sympathy for your loss. My prayers are with you.
